Xavier Villarreal, CEO
Xavier Villarreal has served as Chief Executive Officer at Navarro Regional Hospital since October of 2007. "I am excited to be working with a team that is dedicated to providing excellent medical care alongside a medical staff that is clinically strong and interested in seeing this hospital succeed," said Villarreal.
Before coming to Navarro Regional Hospital, Villarreal served as Chief Operating Officer at Abilene Regional Medical Center for two and a half years. While in Abilene, he was involved in a $26 Million expansion and renovation project which added 42 new patient rooms and renovated 30,000 square feet of outpatient services. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer at two hospitals in the Hillcrest Healthcare System based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Villarreal is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is active in a number of community organizations. He holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.
