Maternity Care
Having a baby is one of the most exciting and rewarding times in a woman's life, and Navarro Regional Hospital is dedicated to providing expectant mothers and newborns with the finest care during this special time. Our maternity services are provided by obstetricians, labor and delivery specialists, nurses and other caring professionals in a welcoming, comfortable environment.
Three experienced obstetricians, supported by a team of registered and licensed nursing staff, deliver an average of 45 or more babies per month. We offer a relaxing, home-like atmosphere with modern fetal and maternal monitoring equipment that helps us watch closely over the health of mother and baby.
The third floor labor and delivery unit offers:
- Antepartum and labor care
- Celebration song – announces the birth of new babies throughout the hospital
- Childbirth classes – free education classes for expecting parents, including breastfeeding education
- Five delivery rooms
- Free wireless internet access
- Postpartum services
- Newborn level-1 nursery care
