Current Visitor Guidelines
- Med/Surg and ICU: Open visitation for all patients without suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection during the designated visiting hours.
- Outpatient Surgery: Two (2) visitors will be allowed for patients in the day surgery unit.
- ED: Only one (1) Visitor will be allowed for adult (over the age of 18) patients at the discretion of the clinical care team. Two (2) visitors will be allowed for pediatric patients to accommodate both parents.
- Labor and Delivery: Patients may have one designated support person over the age of 18 (under 18 is allowed only if it is the father of the baby) for the duration of their stay. One additional visitor over the age of 18 is permitted for the birth of the baby but will be asked to leave when the mother begins her postpartum stay. The designated support person is permitted to come and go from the facility; however, a new support person is not allowed to replace them. Sibling visitation Is not permitted at this time.
- No visitors are allowed for COVID-19 patients/PUI except for the designated caregivers in the following circumstances:
- Pediatric patients (parent/caregiver, includes patients 17 years and younger)
- Patients with difficulty understanding (i.e. may lack decision-making capacity due to age, mental deficits, health condition, or communication barriers)
- Patient who may be disabled or impaired
- Critically ill patients who may be at the end of life (as deemed by facility leadership, more than one visitor may be granted).
- Other limited visitation may be scheduled for COVID patients at the discretion of the clinical care team.
- Visitors should complete attestation via QR code or paper form upon entry for each calendar day. Visitors refusing to complete the attestation form or with signs or symptoms of COVID-19 should not enter the facility.
- Visitors are asked to perform hand hygiene and adhere to universal masking, respiratory, and cough etiquette practices during their visit. Visitors refusing to comply with masking will be asked to leave the facility.
- Visitors should not linger in the hallways and should practice social distancing measures when outside of the patient room.
Visiting hours are generally 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Visitors may enter through the front lobby from the hours of 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday - Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. After open lobby hours, visitors should enter through the back of the hospital at the emergency department doors and follow the floor signs to the visitor elevators.
These guidelines may be altered as necessary by the clinical care team or administrative members to protect the health and safety of our patients and employees.
